A presentation ceremony for participants in the Fones4Life Recycling Appeal will take place
Date: Wednesday 13th February 2013
Venue: Heartsafety Solutions, 17 Kilcarbery Business Park, Nangor Road, Dublin 22
Since 2010, organisations from all over Ireland have been fundraising for lifesaving defibrillators &
training. This event acknowledges all their hard work recycling old mobile phones.
Hundreds of people were involved, with over 22 groups successfully reaching their targets this time.
Schools, community groups, scouts and sports clubs will benefit in the fight against Sudden Cardiac
Arrest (SCA). This is a condition in which the heart suddenly stops beating. SCA usually causes death if
not treated within minutes. Defibrillators & CPR treatment increase the survival rate of victims.
The ceremony proceedings -
1. CPR / AED Training @4.00 pm
2. Defibrillator Presentation @6.00 pm
